The TopDown Delft team has recently conducted field research in India. Now that the problem has been visualized, the designing can really start! A second group traveled to India last week to continue the project.
During the field research it became clear at which locations the cold chain project has potential. Consultations were held with farmers in various places and the way of working was examined. Not only the farmers were interviewed, the rest of the chain was also examined. For example, we looked at the transport and the market where the products are sold. All in all, it provides insight into where a new cooling system could be of added value.
Now that the field research has been done, the design phase started. Based on the available resources and the needs of the farmers, a cooling system with dry ice technology will be designed. Keep an eye out on our site for more updates or check their own blog at http://www.topdowndelft.nl.
