Students4Sustainability wouldn’t exist without the help of our partners. Every year, S4S enters into various partnerships and collaborations with a wide range of companies and organizations. For example, last year S4S hosted the VR workshop "Earth from Space" in collaboration with Circular Leadership, Ekoplaza Delft sponsored all the food for the Vegan Chef cooking competition, and Biosphere Solar gave a lunch lecture on how the company combines innovation with responsibility in the solar panel industry.
For an overview of all our collaborations from recent years, we kindly refer you to our events page, our Instagram, or to one of our four committees, who organize our largest events each year in collaboration with various external partners.
S4S also organizes their annual Green Career Fair, which bridges the gap between sustainable companies and students seeking a green career. This event is a yearly success, bringing together 10-15 companies with around 200-300 students. In addition, S4S is always looking for companies willing to give a lecture, host a case study, or organize an in-house day, to offer technical students the chance to get to know the company and its sustainable ambitions.
As a student-led organization, S4S is deeply embedded in the Delft technical (green) student community. Are you looking to connect with this group of students, or seeking new energy and ideas around sustainable innovation? Or would you like to learn more about what S4S could mean for your company? Please contact our Commissioner of External Affairs at extern@students4sustainability.nl.
Partner organisations
S4S has also had a number of long-term partner organizations for several years. For example, S4S is part of Studenten voor Morgen, a national organization dedicated to integrating sustainability into higher education and student life. In addition, S4S has received long-standing financial support from Studium Generale Delft, an organization that promotes the academic development of students through various extracurricular activities. Finally, in recent years, S4S has increasingly collaborated with the GreenTU, the student board committed to sustainability at TU Delft. This collaboration is a natural fit, as several of our goals align, such as motivating and engaging students in the field of sustainability.
Anbi status
Students4Sustainability is an Algemeen Nutbeogende Instelling ("Public Benefit Organization") and therefore holds an ANBI status. What this exactly means can be found here on the website of the Dutch Tax Administration. In short, it means that there are (tax) benefits for companies that choose to collaborate with us. For example, no tax needs to be paid on the money a company sponsors to S4S.
Having ANBI status also means that S4S must meet certain requirements. This includes making specific information available on the website, such as the (financial) annual reports and the compensation policy. The general policy and information about the board members can be found here.
The ANBI status can be verified here on the website of the Dutch Tax and Customs Administration. Search for the organization name "Stichting Students 4 Sustainability" or RSIN "817685200".
