In Rudraprayag, India, many small villages are located in the midst of jungle area where wildlifeand man coëxist. However, due to factors like rapid urbanisation wildlife habitat is shrinking.This causes more and more occurrences of a human wildlife conflict that can lead to diminishingof crops, and even attacks on humans.
We are a multidisciplinary group of bachelor students doing a project in the branch of “FrugalInnovation”. Our goal is to co-design with these villagers and find an affordable, sustainable andinclusive solution regarding the human wildlife conflict that fits this context.
