The club space is slowly but surely coming together. Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working in a welder’s workshop on a metal structure that can support various panels and be used in different ways. This allows us to create different atmospheres during the weekend program over the course of three evenings. The metal comes from leftover batches, which requires more work to make it usable and safe. On the other hand, this also yields beautiful results—the materials are full of stories and traces of previous users. We visited glass studios and found boxes full of mirror shards in their trash bins. In the coming days, we’ll use them to create large mosaic panels. It’s special to see how discarded objects are brought back to life, with co-creation at the heart of it all.
