After five weeks in The Gambia, Project DOMO has returned from two weeks at the Armitage High School. Together with its students, 2 solar dryers were built and some experiments were performed. Both our solar dryers worked quite well!
After this, the project moved to the village Jakaba, where the eight-meter-wide solar dryer will be built. The Gambia has elected a new president after 22 years, which caused some delay for the project. At this time, the building has started with the help of many villagers. When the last materials are bought, finishing the large solar dryer is getting in sight!
