Lunch Lecture: Building with Nature

This year too, we find it really important to make students from Delft enthusiastic about sustainability and thus, this year, multiple Lunch Lectures will be organized again.

For our first Lunch Lecture we invite Han Winterwerp, professor at the TU Delft faculty of Civil Engineering, expert in morphodynamics and sediment transport. During this lecture Han will take up water problems, specifically the concept of 'Building with Nature'. 

Building with Nature is a design approach that aims to find Nature Based solutions for water-related infrastructures such as flood defences, sustainable port development and restoring ecosystems.
