LECTURE: What is our water footprint?

Starts on: February 16, 2022 - 12:40 PM Ends on: February 16, 2022 - 1:30 PM

On February 16, Oleksandr Mialyk will give a lecture about our water footprint in the Orange Room of the TU Delft library.

Oleksandr is a water enthusiast. He is Coordinator Outreach at Water Footprint Nation (WFN), and a PhD student at the University of Twente. His focus lies on global land and water scarcity. ‘Water footprint’ measures the amount of water that is used to produce the goods and services we use. This water usage is not always as visible as the water running from your tap.

In this lunch lecture, you will learn which things in daily life use a lot of water, and how you can change some daily habits to lower your own water footprint.
